Mathanmi Hungyo is a professional social worker, and has completed Masters in Social Work from Delhi School of Social Work with specialization in Family & children, Urban & Rural communities as well as conflict mitigation & Peace Building. He has been part of SEWA (Self Employed Women’s Association), Centre for Equity Studies and APDP Kashmir as a part of his field work.

His interest area has been Education, Public Health, Livelihood, Sports, Farming, and Sustainable Development and Indigenous community knowledge. He was part of Global Shapers -Imphal Hub which is part of Global shapers under World Economic forum.

Presently, Mathanmi is a Changeloomer and a Wipro Fellow. He is also a member of District Level Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of National Social Assistance Program under the Ministry of Social Welfare – Government of India.
